Five warning lights you should not ignore

Five warning lights you should not ignore

Check-engine lights in Dubai are often misfires from heat-soaked coils, vacuum leaks, or catalytic efficiency codes after cheap fuel. Clearing the light without a live-data log just makes it come back on Sheikh Zayed Road.

ABS and traction lights after a battery change are common. Modules lose coding. We recode rather than throwing sensors at the car. If the light arrived after a pothole on Al Quoz roads, that is a different story — hubs, rings and looms.

Airbag lights after a minor bumper job usually mean a connector was left unseated. We do not reset restraints without confirming the circuit. That is not a workshop shortcut you want taken.

Bring the car while it still drives. Intermittent faults are cheaper to catch on the first visit than after the car has been limp-mode for a month.
