Dubai heat changes when you should service
Dubai is not a temperate-climate service schedule. Cabin and under-bonnet temperatures in Al Quoz regularly sit far above what European or Japanese intervals were written for. Oil shears faster. Batteries sulphate. Condensers clog with dust.
At Alpha Motorworks we treat 5,000–7,000 km or six months as a realistic oil-and-filter window for daily driven cars, especially if the car idles in traffic on Al Khail or Sheikh Zayed Road. Turbo petrols and tuned cars sit at the shorter end of that range.
A/C is not optional here. A weak compressor or a dirty cabin filter is a safety issue, not a comfort extra. We pressure-test, clean condensers and replace filters as part of a proper summer check — not as an upsell at the counter.
Bring the car in if you smell hot electrics, if idle is rough after a long park in the sun, or if the battery is more than three years old. Warehouse 52 is set up for diagnostics first, then the repair — so you are not guessing in 45°C.
